In November when Battlefront finally arrives, you can bet the new shooter from DICE will be one of the best Star Wars games to date.
The developers have put in massive efforts to make the game as realistic as possible and recreate George Lucas' original Star Wars universe. They have been scanning original props from the trilogy films to incorporate into the game. This should add an edge to both the single player and multiplayer experience. The studio revealed how it used photogrammetry, taking pictures of the object from all angles then creating a 3D virtual model. DICE have confirmed 40 player games across 4 locations and this method of development will add more realism to this experience.
DICE have also been given access to the original film recordings, meaning the SFX within the game will be even more realistic as they can form an environment of "ambient noise".
The combination of photogrammetry and SFX development will make Star Wars: Battlefront an interesting and exciting game to play, watch out for it from the 17th of November.
